Why USC?

After I finished high school in China, I heard about the University of South Carolina International Accelerator Program. I applied because of USC’s highly-ranked business school and I knew the program would help me, as an international student, adapt to the University and American culture.

USC IAP Experience

Being in the International Accelerator Program is a privilege—all international students should get this opportunity and level of support. I am adapting well culturally and getting the academic and language support I need to successfully transition from high school in my home country to a top U.S. university. All the support makes it easy for me to focus on growing personally, socially and academically as a college student in the United States.

Campus Life

USC has a beautiful campus and great faculty and staff. As an international student, if I have any language problems, the professors are always willing to help me. It’s a great place for both studying and living because the campus is safe and everyone is so friendly. It was easy for me to realize USC was the right choice.

One Last Thought…

“I live in the East Quad dormitory with one Chinese roommate and two American roommates. Having American roommates has really helped me transition between different cultures. We all share a large living room and we even have a kitchen, but I have my own room with a closet — I promise, it’s the best dorm!”
