Improving Human Health with Technology and Biology

Want to design biomedical devices, conduct innovative healthcare research or solve problems using a combination of engineering and medicine?

The Master of Biomedical Engineering program builds deep technical skills, through advanced coursework where engineering and biology meet. You’ll also learn important business skills, by choosing a project management, entrepreneurship or technical track.

Research and study areas include:

  • Biomechanics
  • Tissue engineering
  • Drug development and delivery
  • Biomonitoring and Biomeasurements
  • Biomaterials

Students have the option of either an ME (Master of Engineering) or MS (Master of Science) degree. Pursuing an MS degree requires completing a thesis.
